In this vaporizer review I will be going over all the Puffco Peak vaporizer’s prime features, and all its best qualities from the packaging all the way to the vapour quality. The Puffco peak was released by Puffco, taking the whole vaping community by surprise.
Puffco vaporizers was well known for its nice collection of high quality portable vape pens, so when they came out with the Puffco Peak, an awesome desktop vaporizer, everyone was really excited to try it and see what they thought about this newest addition to Puffco’s collections.

At its price point, I believe that the Puffco peak is one of the best desktop vaporizers you can buy, if not the best. The quality of vapour, the ease of use, and the intuitive controls are all features that make the Puffco Peak really worth the investment.
The Puffco Peak | Unboxing and First Impressions
First impressions are super important in my opinion, so when I purchased the Puffco Peak vaporizer I was more than excited to see how it was packaged and what came in the box with it. So, when it arrived at my door, I was really excited to tear into it and take my first look.
The Puffco Peak comes in really nice packaging, which in my opinion says a lot about the company and their distinct attention (or lack thereof) to the finer details.
Of course, the outside was really nice, but I especially liked their attention to the inside of the box; for it came with a nice message printed within. Anyway, the box it came in was compact and beautiful, and very secure so none of the goods were damaged.
Once inside the box, the Puffco Peak was actually in another protective container, which also serves as a portable case where you can store your Peak without it getting damaged at all.
This box is actually a great addition, since the vaporizer is made from glass, and you definitely want to do all you can not to damage or break your unit.
Within the box also comes one booklet with all the instructions and “need to knows” about the vaporizer which I found very easy to follow and very informative; and a little promotional card for their vape pens.
So far, as you may be able to tell, I was very impressed with my first glance at the whole package, and I was already happy with my decision to purchase this vaporizer.
Once inside the compact case, I was able to see the actual vaporizer and all its little accessories which I will mention below.

Assembling the Puffco Peak & Features
Assembling the Puffco Peak was intuitive and easy, but I read through all the instructions quite thoroughly before beginning to assemble or use the piece. Thankfully the instructions were very well planned out, illustrated, and very clear, so I had absolutely no problem in the assembly of this unit.
Since I had never seen a vaporizer like this, as it is the first of its kind, I was naturally a little nervous to place something the wrong way. But, as I stated above, the instructions were very clear and precise, so once I started reading them I knew I was going to be just fine.
The Puffco Peak glass top serves as both a vapour chamber and as water filtration and cooling system. So, I filled the glass up to the indicated point, and then connected it into my previously fully charged atomizer.
This device runs on a very powerful battery which lasts for a whopping 25 to 30 vaping sessions; and which charges very quickly when charged using the USB charger provided with the vaporizer.
Then came the loading and heating. I found that loading the device was very easy, and that the carb cap was very easy to set in place before I began heating and vaping my concentrates.
This is a plus because I have had problems in the past with loading other devices due to their shape; but this device was extremely easy to load.
The Puffco has 4 different heat settings which range from 121 degrees Celsius up to 221 degrees Celsius, all indicated by the flashing Light Band feature. I decided to start vaping on a medium setting (green colour light), because I knew it would give me full flavour hits and dense clouds.
A feature worth mentioning at this point is the Puffco Peak’s Haptic Feedback which vibrates when the device is ready to hit. The Light Band and Haptic Feedback features actually work together to let you know when the device is heating, what heat setting it is on, and then when the device is ready to hit.
Additionally, I’d like to mention that I found that this vaporizer was extremely quick to heat up compared to all the other E-nails I have used in the past. It literally took around 15-20 seconds to heat up to a medium temperature, and I was quite impressed with that aspect.
First Hits from the Puffco Peak
Once my Puffco Peak was loaded and heated, the device vibrated to let me know it was ready to hit. When I took that first hit I was extremely surprised at the amazing quality of taste I got and at the the amazing density and size of the cloud I got, despite the lower temperature setting.
I was so pleased from there on to find that the good taste never once wavered, and that each time I hit it i got smooth, cool hits full of flavourful vape. This was, of course, the moment of truth, and let me tell you that I was more than happy with the results.
I proceeded to vape all the concentrates I had loaded into the chamber, and to become increasingly pleased with each hit. As I vaped I paused every couple of hits, and when I resumed my session, all I had to do was press the button to heat the vaporizer up again, and within seconds I was ready to start vaping at full potential once again.
In conclusion, I was extremely pleased with this vaporizer’s quality, its wonderful features and details, and the amazing quality of vapour I got from it. It’s also worth mentioning that I found this vaporizer to be very efficient in using up every last bit of the concentrates I loaded it with, so that is also quite a pro in my opinion.
