Vapour Quality

Dab rigs produce some of the purest and tasty vapour and the Dr. Dabber Boost doesn't disappoint this, the flavour is also affected by the material the nail is made out. The Boost comes with three types of nails -  titanium, ceramic and quartz so you're spoilt for choice! Try out the different nails and choose depending on the experience you want. Temperature Control

The Dr. Dabber doesn't have any temperature controls but it doesn't need them. The base-level temperature of the Dr. Dabber is 268°C  and after another 20 seconds of heating, it should reach more than 315°F before the heater turns off. At these optimal temperatures, you get a very good flavour and a good amount of vapour cloud.

Ease of use

The Dr. Dabber Boost Vaporizer is very easy to use and has a one-button system, that controls the device. The Boost comes with three different Nails, a Titanium Nail, a Ceramic Nail and a Quartz Nail. The device works slightly differently with the three:

Using the Titanium Nail or Ceramic Nail

The Dr Dabber Boost Titanium nail requires its users to press its power button 3 times, and wait 25 seconds before it’s ready to be fully used. Once the light button turns green on the device, the vaporizer is ready for use. Once the device has run through the heating cycle, the Boost will turn off on its own. This unit really is a one-push-of-a-button Dab Rig.

Using the Quartz Nail

Using the quartz nails requires a similar method, only with the user pressing the power button 5 times, waiting for its blue-light to appear until after 40 seconds it indicates it’s ready to use by changing to white. Once the heating cycle is complete, the device will turn off automatically.

Battery Life

The Dr Dabber Boost runs on a 18650 battery. Its battery is capable of lasting for an average of 40 to 60 separate hits with its life depending on usage, compare this with portable vaporizers!. For more experienced users, it is required to charge it once every two days. With its micro-USB capabilities, it is easy to charge it anywhere a micro-USB cord is used.

Design

The Dr. Dabber Boost Vaporizer has a sleek and portable design, that comes with an array of attachments. The portable E-Nail comes with a titanium, a ceramic, and quartz nail attachment that can be easily interchanged. The heating rod can also be removed and is interchangeable. Additionally, the device comes with a dab tool and a carb cap that are both magnetic. The Vapour the device produces is pure and potent, yet doesn´t scratch your throat and remains smooth and cool, thanks to the water filter system. The heating element can also be exchanged easily and has a one year warranty. Looking after the Dr Dabber Boost is easy, as almost all parts of the E-Nail are replaceable. One thing we noticed about the Boost is that although it is a portable vaporizer, it is not really that easy to carry around. The individual parts can easily break or get lost if not kept in the carry case, which does not fit into a pocket. However, if you are taking the Boost with you, we recommend transporting it in the box, as the box does fit easily into a backpack or a larger handbag.
