How often should I clean my Puffco Peak Pro?
Puffco recommends regular cleaning to maintain an optimum experience. They don't quite state how regularly as that depends on how heavily it is used. We recommend a weekly clean for the daily user to maintain quality flavour vapor. You should carry out a thorough clean every time the battery fully depletes and needs to be recharged. You should soak the atomizer anytime you notice excess flooding or if you get a red-blue response from the device.

TIP: If you can't get your hands on 99% you can make do with a lower percentage. Puffco recommends 99% Isopropyl Alcohol because lower percentages have a higher water content which “could potentially cause issues”.
Disassemble Puffco Peak PRO
To properly clean your Puffco Peak Pro, you must first disassemble it. Before you begin, make sure that the device is powered off and has cooled down. IF still on , press and hold Begin by unscrewing the base of the device. There are two small screws on either side of the base that need to be loosened. Once these screws have been removed, you can gently lift off the base and set it aside.

- Remove the cap.
- Turn your atomizer counterclockwise to unscrew it from the base.

- In one hand, hold on to the base and with the other, grab the glass.
- Gently pull the back of the glass out from the base until it unclips and becomes free.
What To Clean to get the best flavour?
The most important bit to keep clean of your Puffco Peak Pro is the chamber. This is because it comes into contact with concentrates the most. Excessive residue and grime may result in an inferior dabbing experience. It’s also super important to keep the glass and base clean, so there is no build-up of dirt.
How to Clean the Puffco Peak Pro: Chamber/Atomizer
Light Cleaning
- Take a q-tip/cotton swab and dip it in the ISO Alcohol.
- Swab the gold connection points on the bottom of the chamber, removing any grime or residue.
- Swab inside the chamber, removing any residue.
TIP: We found that this method works best if the chamber has been recently used and is still a little warm. Please allow it to cool down before handling. The 3D Ceramic Atomizer is cleaned in a similar fashion.
Deep Cleaning
- Fill a glass/beaker with the 90%+ ISO alcohol
- Submerge the chamber for at least 30 minutes.
Warning: Never use water to submerge the chamber. Water exposure to ceramic can potentially damage the part.

How to Clean the Atomizer & Bowl
Now that you have access to the atomizer, you can begin cleaning it. Take the cotton swab and saturate it with your 99%+ isopropyl alcohol. Wipe down all of the surfaces that were accessible from outside of the device, such as the top rim of the atomizer and any visible threads or crev ices.
Once the initial cleaning is complete, you can begin to get into the more tricky areas of the atomizer. Inserting a cotton swab into the top hole and moving it around will allow you to clean out any excess residue that has built up inside the chamber. Make sure that you are gentle when doing this as there are delicate parts inside ceramic bowl.
How to Clean the Carb
Remove the carb cap, take a cotton swab and saturate it with 99%+ ISO alcohol. Wipe down all visible surfaces of the cap to remove any build-up or residue. You can also insert the cotton swab into the air hole of the cap and move it around to ensure all residue is removed.
Allow your carb cap to air dry before putting it back onto your device. This will ensure that any residual alcohol has evaporated and won’t get into your concentrates when you use the device.
Clean the Connectors and Mouthpiece
Now that your atomizer is clean, you can move onto the connectors and mouthpiece. Take a new cotton swab and saturate it with your 99%+ isopropyl alcohol. How can I charge my Puffco Peak Pro?
With USB-C Charging. Connect your device to a wall outlet using the USB-C charger provided. When charging, the light will be pulsing and it will turn off after reaching full charge.
It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully recharge a drained battery. But don't worry you can still vape concentrate with your Peak Pro while charging.
After attempting to update the firmware, my Peak Pro is no longer functional. Can you assist me?
To begin, connect the device to its charger and allow it to recharge for approximately 10 minutes to verify that the power is not completely depleted. Keep in mind that this "dead" state may cause the LED indicator lights not to operate but don't fret since the battery will still be in the process of recharges.
In order to complete the recovery and update the firmware, it is advised to restart the app. Deleting or unpairing the device should not be done at this stage.
