What’s Included
The Arizer ArGo and Air 2 both include removable batteries, while the Solo 2 has a built-in battery. All three include extra screens, glass stems, silicone covers and charging accessories. The ArGo and Air 2 include carrying cases.
Controls
The Arizer Solo 2, Air 2, and ArGo all use the same control scheme and have the menu display OLED screen. All of the devices’ temperature control buttons are on the front of the device.
Neither of the three devices has Bluetooth compatibility, and you can access all of their features without using a mobile app. This is great for people who feel like using a mobile app just to vape is a hassle.
Flavour Quality
One great feature of all Arizer vaporizers is that their flavour quality is absolutely terrific.
When using all three vaporizers, the herbs and the vapor only touch borosilicate glass. Thanks to this high-quality glass, nothing will interfere with the flavour. You can enjoy the terpenes in your favourite strains with no distractions and no unpleasant flavours.
If you like your vapor on the cooler side, it’s good to know that the Arizer Solo 2 uses a longer glass stem than the Air 2 and ArGo. With a little more distance between the herbs and your mouth, you’ll find that the Solo 2 produces cooler, milder vapor a longer stem may also mean that some flavour notes are a bit less pronounced.
Cleaning
Cleaning any Arizer vaporizer is a breeze because Arizer’s vaporizers store your herbs in removable glass stems.
When resin begins to collect in the stem of your Arizer vape, simply remove the stem and soak it in alcohol. After a long soak, you can rinse away any remaining residue in the sink.
Clean the chamber of your vaporizer with a pipe cleaner or cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Then just let the vaporizer and stem dry completely before vaping again.
Loading
The Arizer ArGo, Solo 2 and Air 2 all load in exactly the same way. After grinding your herb, remove the glass stem from the vaporizer. Push the bottom of the stem into the pile of ground herbs a few times. The herbs will collect in the chamber at the bottom of the stem.
Push gently with your finger to compress the herbs. Return the stem to the vaporizer, turn the device on and enjoy!
After the end of your session, you can dump the used herbs by removing the stem and shaking it gently. But, let the stem cool down before removing it or reloading it.
Battery Life
Being a larger and less portable vaporizer, the Arizer Solo 2 differs significantly in terms of battery technology.
The Air 2 and ArGo both use single removable 18650 lithium-ion batteries. The included batteries have stated capacities of 3,000 mAh and nominal voltages of 3.6-3.7 volts.
The Arizer Solo 2, on the other hand, uses a much more powerful battery pack consisting of two 18650 cells wired in series. The battery pack has a capacity of 3,400 mAh and a nominal voltage of 7.2 volts.
The higher battery voltage means that the oven heats more quickly. It also means that there’s less voltage sag and less battery drain when vaping at higher temperatures.
The capacity in mAh of the Arizer Solo 2 battery is only slightly higher than the others. You’ll find in practice that the Arizer Solo 2 lasts much longer on a full charge.
While choosing the Arizer ArGo or Air 2 means that you’ll have a more portable device with slightly less battery life. It also means that you’ll have the ability to remove the battery. But it is less of an inconvenience when you can simply swap out a dead battery for a charged one.

Size, Weight and Portability
As we mentioned above, the Arizer Solo 2 is the least portable vaporizer in this comparison. Although you can certainly carry it in a bag, it won’t fit comfortably in any pocket. The Solo 2 is about 10.86 cubic cm in volume and weighs 210 g. You also can’t carry it with the stem attached.
The Arizer Air 2 doesn’t fare much better in size, but it does weigh significantly less at 116 g. Like the Solo 2, the Air 2 doesn’t have built-in storage for the glass stem. It does, however, include a carrying case with room for two stems or one stem and an extra battery.
If you want the most portable Arizer vaporizer, you need the ArGo. The Arizer ArGo has a body that extends at the push of a button to conceal and protect the stem. So there’s no need to store the stem separately. The ArGo is about 5 cubic cm in volume and weighs137 g ounces.
Oven Capacity
Although the Arizer Air 2, Solo 2 and ArGo have different stems. Their oven capacity is about the same at approximately 0.15 grams. If you grind your material finely enough and pack your vape’s stem tightly, it’ll hold a bit more.
You have to be careful, though, not to pack the herbs so tightly that they restrict airflow. If you block the vapor path, you’ll have trouble inhaling the vapor.
Wax Compatibility
The Arizer ArGo, Air 2 and Solo 2 are all designed to produce a great vapor quality when vaping dry herbs. The design – which requires you to pack the stem and invert it over the heating element – is incompatible with wax vaping. If you place a wax concentrate in the stem, the wax will liquify and drip down into the oven.

The Solo 2 and Air 2 both include glass mouthpiece for aromatherapy. Simply replace the standard mouthpiece with the aromatherapy stem and fill the stem with dried herbs such as lavender. When you turn the vaporizer on, your room will fill with the scent of the herb.

Oven Heating Time
The Air 2 will be the slowest to heat up with an oven heating time of about 60-90 seconds. With an average heating time of 60 seconds, the ArGo is a bit faster. Oven preheating, though, is where the dual-cell battery pack of the Solo 2 really shines.
With the Solo 2, you can vape in about 30 seconds. Although the Solo 2 isn’t quite an on-demand vaporizer, it’s certainly close.
Warranty
Arizer backs its products with a two-year warranty giving you protection from manufacturing defects and sudden hardware failure. However, the warranty won’t cover battery degradation or wear tear from normal use.
Also note that neither of the three vapes’ warranty covers broken glass pieces, so you should either have at least one extra glass piece on-hand or just be really careful.
