Why Choose a Coarse Plate for the XL Grinder?

Convection vaporizers rely on hot air passing through loosely packed material to extract efficiently. A coarser grind reduces compaction inside the chamber, which in our experience leads to more even extraction and better flavour across the full session. Coarse Plate vs Standard Plate:

The standard SS XL plate produces a medium grind suited to a broad range of vaporizers. The Coarse Plate is the better choice for convection-dominant devices such as the Arizer Solo 3, Mighty+, or Crafty+, where a less compacted load produces noticeably better airflow and more consistent draws. If you primarily use a conduction vaporizer like the PAX 3 or DaVinci IQ2, the standard or fine plate will likely serve you better.

Compatibility:

How to Install:

Disassemble your SS XL grinder and lift out the existing screen plate from the grinder body. Press the Coarse Plate firmly into position — no tools required. The plate swaps back to standard or fine at any time, so you can adjust your grind style to match whichever vaporizer you reach for.
