Why Choose a Coarse Plate?

Standard grinder plates produce a medium-fine grind that suits combustion well. For vaporizers, particularly convection or hybrid-heating devices, a coarser, less compacted grind allows hot air to pass through the material more evenly. In practice, this can improve vapour density and reduce the chance of uneven extraction, particularly in shorter sessions.

How to Install:

Simply disassemble your SS Classic grinder, remove the existing screen plate from the grinder body, and press the Coarse Plate into position. No tools are required. The plate seats securely and can be swapped back to the standard plate at any time, giving you flexibility depending on what you are grinding for.
