The device vibrate once power is on and will automatically start heating to latest heating setting ( or default if first use ).

To enter the settings menu, simply click up and down at the same time. Then use up and down to navigate and the double press to enter into each option of the settings. To leave the menu, click both the up and down arrow on the top start text.
